MINTEDVR is a virtual reality driving simulation. It is developed to support but not replace practical in-car driver training. While MINTEDVR is based on generally and internationally accepted driving practices You must check your local road rules and comply with your country’s specific driver training requirements before driving a real motor vehicle on public roads. Your local transport authorities may have specific requirements outlined in their road rules which may vary when compared to those in the simulation. These may include, but are not limited to, local speed limits, road markings, and traffic signage. You are responsible for complying with all locally applicable laws and regulations when operating a real motor vehicle on public roads. MINTEDVR LTD will not be liable for any damage(s) or injury(s) caused by user failure(s) to comply with any domestic laws including local transport legislation, road rules, and regulations enforced by local authorities. By proceeding to use MINTEDVR you agree with the terms and conditions of use.
The MINTDRIVER Course is a ten-session program conducted using Virtual Reality Technolgy. The Course is conducted by a trained MINTEDVR Coach who guides a learner through a range of driving scenarios in VR. The driving scenarios are designed to develop and assess in car safety, gap selection, speed management, vehicle positioning, use of indicators, mirror checks, blind spot checks, safe following distances and the correct application of road rules.
Learner progress is tracked through the MINTEDVR Performance Dashboard with regular feedback provided by the MINTEDVR Coach.
At the end of the MINTDRIVER Course each learner with sufficient attendance is awarded a Participation Certificate with clear feedback on their level of driving competence for the above-mentioned assessment criteria.
